I am a visual artist from Johannesburg,
South Africa. Started with having an
interest in drawing, followed later by
graffiti and hip-hop culture being an
influence in the early years, and this
created an interest in software to digitize
artworks. Later, materials such as oil,
resin, and woven material. Inspiration derives from collages and silhouettes. I have been involved in a few exhibitions and engaged in numerous digital projects. The work talks about displacement and it's effect on arrested development. It subtly talks about moments in the places I used to live in, which bring up existential questions and meaning about those experiences. Leaving little room for how one remembers those places but how I feel about them.
